The SavingFood (SF) Cost Calculation Tool (that will be freely available from August 2016) is a tool created specifically for businesses in the food and catering sectors, and can be used to quickly and easily determine how much the food that is regularly wasted is costing your business as well as the environment!
Simply enter as much data as you want (the more the better!) concerning the food that is thrown out on a regular basis, and the SF cost calculation tool will automatically determine the preparation cost of the food which was not consumed, the additional cost of raw ingredients, the waste disposal cost, as well as the CO₂ that is produced from the organic waste and released in the atmosphere.
